Hi everyone. We are so excited that our website is finally up and runing!

Here you will find everything you need to know about UISCE: what we do, how we support the community of PWUD and Service providers, what advocacy means to us and much more! You can also dowload the latest issues of the Brass Munkie magazine and any materials that we produce.

We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce Lynn, our new Peer Support Worker to all of you.

Lynn began their work in harm reduction services in 2009 volunteering at a 24-hour drop-in centre for sex workers in Vancouver, Canada. They have since had experience in youth work, housing first, mental health & addiction, human resources administration, low threshold program management and outreach. They moved to Ireland in 2016 and worked as a relief project worker for Depaul. In January 2020 Lynn joined UISCE as our new Peer Support Worker!

You will see Lynn supporting volunteers on outreach, implementing, supporting and facilitating Forums for PWUD, linking with services and clinics, among other roles.
